A Brief History of Colon Hydrotherapy

What is The Colon?

The colon is the last five feet of the digestive tract. It is a hollow, tube-like organ made up of a muscle structure that moves digested food along by a wavelike motion known as peristaltic action. The colon is the living area for a host of bacteria that produce vitamins such as K and some B vitamins. The colon also absorbs water, nutrients, proteins and cell salts back into the blood stream.

What is Colon Hydrotherapy?

Colon Hydrotherapy-also known as a colonic, colon irrigation or high powered enema-is a safe, all-natural way of removing waste from the large intestine, without the use of drugs.

Why should I be concerned about Colon Hydrotherapy?

As reported in Are You a Toxic Waste Site by William T. Tiller, N. D, the colon has been referred to as the sewer system of the body. It is the place where we store the waste material that most of us would rather not think about. And most of us don’t until our health becomes poor.

Will only one session do the job?

One session will only empty part of the colon. As many doctors have written in health books, two sessions are recommended the first week, back to back, two sessions the second week, and one a week for the next eight weeks. After the 5th session, the colon starts to release the old sludge waste.  After completion of all twelve sessions, most clients return every couple of months for maintenance purposes. Each person will determine when to return.
